Abstract

In this paper, we obtain some best proximity point theorems for a generalized C−proximal almost weakly contractive maps in partially ordered metric spaces. Our results generalize the results of Azizi, Moosaei and Zareir [3] by choosing A = B = X, where A and B are nonempty subsets of a partially ordered metric space (X, d). We draw some corollaries and give illustrative examples in support of our results.
