Aims & Scopes

Bangmod J-MCS is a peer-reviewed, open-access international journal publishing original research works of a high standard in all areas of theoretical, applied mathematical, and computational science. All papers concerning or studying theoretical, mathematical, and formal concepts, algorithms, and methods are welcome, aimed at providing comprehensive coverage on the latest developments of research of theoretical mathematics and computational science as well as their applications to broad scientific fields spanning mathematics, engineering, economic, physics, and statistics.

The journal publishes original contributions on broad aspects: from both the development of a fundamental theoretical and computational algorithm to extensive numerical applications to specific scientific. It covers general research areas including, but not limited to: theoretical and computational physics, computational mathematics, computational engineering, and computational science. The authors may consult the scientific area of each editor for further guidelines.

About “Bangmod”

KING MONGKUT’S UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY THONBURI

KMUTT is a think tank for major fields ranging from science and technology to design, education, and applied linguistics. It’s just the right choice if you’re looking for a study environment that combines vibrant university life and academic atmosphere perfectly.

King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) is a leading technology academy in Thailand, focusing on teaching and researching in engineering and technology as well as serving the industry. The short famous name of the university is “Bangmod”, a local name for the area around the university. KMUTT is located in Thung Khru district, Bangkok and it was officially founded on April 18, 1960.

King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi Has evolved for more than 50 years. Currently teaching and learning in 4 areas

The university has three campuses: two of them are in Bangkok (Bang Mod (also KX) and Bangkhuntian) and the third one is in Ratchaburi province.

KMUTT BANGMOD CAMPUS

This 52-acre campus is located on the west side of Bangkok, embraced by Bangkok Metropolitan Park and Youth Center. It is the main campus of KMUTT. It houses the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, School of Energy, Environment and Materials, School of Information Technology, School of Liberal Arts, the Joint Graduate School of Energy and Environment, Graduate School of Management and Innovation, Institute of Field Robotics, Institute for Scientific and Technological Research and Services, Computer Center and KMUTT Library.

Not more than 45 minutes from Suvarnabhumi Airport, you will reach KMUTT which is located in ‘Thonburi’, the name of the former capital of Thailand. Half a century ago, this area was full of orange orchards and it was remote and underdeveloped. However, as KMUTT yearly enrolments increased rapidly, the area soon became a new satellite city with ever-increasing shop-houses, apartment buildings, restaurants, cinema houses, department stores, and places of entertainment. In addition, in just 25 minutes, you can reach downtown Bangkok: Sathon, Silom, Siam, and Sukhumvit by many means of comfortable.

History of TaCS

The TaCS Center of Excellence in Theoretical and Computational Science (TaCS-CoE) was founded during the TaCS-Center 2014 which was successfully done at KMUTT, in July 2013. It is a growing, interdisciplinary group of scholars from Theoretical and mathematical physics, nonlinear analysis, in particular, fixed point theory and to assess new developments, ideas, and methods in this important and dynamic field. A special emphasis will be put on applications in related areas, as well as other sciences, such as the natural sciences, medicine, economics, and engineering. TaCS-CoE (2021-2025) is a Research Center of Excellence, research projects, and publications at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT).
