Cloud computing, as the seamless integration of physical, digital, and cognitive spaces, continues to evolve rapidly, playing a transformative role across sectors such as education, healthcare, finance, manufacturing, and public services. As we approach 2026, the fusion of cloud technologies with Artificial Intelligence (AI)—particularly Large Language Models (LLMs)—is reshaping how data, services, and intelligence are delivered at scale.

While cloud platforms have become essential for scalable and flexible computing, they also present critical challenges related to trust, autonomy, data privacy, security, latency, and sustainability. The rapid advancement of generative AI and foundation models introduces both new capabilities and complex ethical and technical concerns when deployed in cloud and edge environments.

About the Conference

The Asian Mathematical Conference (AMC) series is a major SEAMS conference, held every 4–5 years since 1990, and hosted by countries in Asia. The first AMC was held in Hong Kong (1990), the second was in Thailand (1995), the third in the Philippines (2000), the fourth in Singapore (2005), the fifth was in Malaysia (2009), the sixth AMC was in Busan, Korea (2013). At AMC-2013 it was decided that the next AMCs will be held in the middle between two International Congress of Mathematics. Therefore, the seventh AMC was in Bali, Indonesia (2016). Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the eighth AMC, originally planned for 2020 in Vietnam, was canceled, and instead, SEAMS Forums were held in VIASM Vietnam in 2023 and 2024.

In 2025, the conference will be held in Chiang Mai, Thailand and includes the following sections:

The objective of the conference is to provide a forum for mathematics researchers from Asia and as well as other continents to foster links and collaboration among themselves and with mathematicians from other parts of the world through the discussion of issues, exchange of ideas and the presentation of research findings.

We welcome everyone to the 28th International Annual Symposium on Computational Science and Engineering (ANSCSE28) held at SC3 Building Thammasat University, Pathum Thani (Bangkok), Thailand, from July 30 to August 1, 2025. At ANSCSE28, we provide a platform for computational scientists and engineers worldwide to share, communicate, and discuss various interesting research they are performing. With many global problems requiring the collaboration of researchers in different fields, we hope ANSCSE28 will help foster borderless scientific collaboration in Thailand.
